Every abandoned cart gets the same three emails and the same discount, whether it's $38 of chalk or a $5,000 treadmill. Here's how QRION routes each cart on its merits.
The flat discount goes to people who would have bought anyway, and it teaches customers to abandon on purpose. Meanwhile, the sales rep whose biggest account just walked away from a large cart never hears about it.
This is the abandoned cart routing workflow. Each abandoned checkout is matched to a customer and checked against everything that says don't contact them, an open dispute, a return in progress, a purchase yesterday, no consent. Only then is it scored.
Then it takes one of four lanes, a sales owner for high value cards, a tailored offer for the middle, the standard reminder for the rest, and a held out control group so the results can be measured.
The score is a version policy, not a black box. Points for cart value, a named account, repeat purchases, rising engagement. Points offer customers who abandon just to wait for discount, and the discount is chosen per customer. A single discount for everyone is refused outright.
Here's a live one. Dana Whitfield from Northgate Labs just left a $4,800 card. Her account owner, Megan, has it in her queue within minutes.
Megan sees why it matters without opening another system. The cart, the score, every reason behind it, and the Salesforce task prepared for her. She calls Dana and records what happened.
Every other cart was routed too. A first time buyer gets 5%. A lapsed customer gets 10. A loyal full price buyer gets the reminder with no discount, and so does the customer who abandons on purpose.
And four carts got nothing at all. An open dispute, a return in progress, an order a few hours ago, no consent. Nobody gets an upsell in the middle of a complaint.
Every decision lands in the evidence store, and so does every order that follows. Recovery rate, discount use, how fast owners hear and whether they act, measured against the control group, not assumed.
The right card to the right person, a discount only where it earns its keep, and proof that it works. That's QRION.
